Beginning in 2002, The Institute has funded pilot research on the effects of energy healing techniques. It has also documented Wisdom-Keepers performing traditional ceremonies as a means of preserving this important knowledge.

The IEM will consider participating in well-developed projects to research native energy healing techniques of the Americas.
